Project to Strengthen Women’s Protection Mechanisms in Al-Shamayatayn District

The Project to Strengthen Women’s Protection Mechanisms in Al-Shamayatayn District aimed to develop community-based protection mechanisms for women and girls and strengthen the capacities of local entities and teams involved in monitoring, protection, and referral. The project contributed to improving responses to gender-based violence cases and linking affected individuals with available protection services in the district.

The project contributed to the monitoring and referral of 299 cases to protection service providers. The cases included women, girls, children, and men. The project was implemented during 2021.
